A little bit about myself……..
My relevant background experience is extensive and has been gained over many years work in the field:
Experience working within a busy purpose built nursery facility, catering for children ages ranging from 0-11 years. Working as a member of a team within a Social Services unit caring for terminally ill and disabled children; a most challenging, however deeply rewarding position
Qualifications
Although there is no substitute for relevant experience, I have always believed that qualifications are a good way to achieve, demonstrate and maintain competence.
Below are the details of qualifications attained; certificates are available to view on request. The NVQ 2 and 3 qualification in particular, is highly relevant and took two years of study and assessment.
Ofsted are the governing body for childcare providers, as a childminder I receive regular inspections to check that I am meeting the requirements of the
national standards which are set by Ofsted.
Qualifications
Professionally Qualified Childminder.
NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Childcare & Education.
Cache Level 3 in Childminding Practice
Ofsted Registered
Qualified Children come first Childminder Network Member, this involves long recruited and formally assessed to NCMA’S quality Childminding Standards.
Qualified NCMA Support Worker providing help & Guidance to newly registered childminders.
Child Protection Awareness Training
Paediatric First Aid Qualified
Extended Schools Workshop
Public Liability Insurance
As a registered childminder, I hold a Public Liability Insurance Certificate which covers every child in my care.
